Temple Square

On Monday night Kaylee, Mr. & Mrs. Killpack, Taylor and I went up to SLC to Temple Square to look at the lights.

B.B.S.

I have the loveliest friends!

The Pie
Afterwords we went to eat at The Pie, which is infamous for its delicious cheesy amazingness, and the fact you get to write on the walls. (and it one of Taylor and I's first dates)

awww...

we pillaged not only the pizza, but our digestive tracts and bowl movement schedules for the next week.

P.S. I got eyelash extensions and am now exponentially more attractive. This is me you know just chillin with no makeup on.
P.P.S. observe my freaky eye fold thingies (just outside the inside corner of my eye) Im not sure why I have them or what they are but just thought I would point them out... I may be part alien or mermaid or something.

crew cuts

J. Crew. Stop it. You are making me miserable. I need you in my life and I can’t have all of you. First your to DIE for wedding dresses and now Crew Cuts? It’s just not fair. I didn’t know kids’ clothes could be this enviable. I may just have to pick some up since I unapologetically wear childrens clothes.

case of the mean reds

(isnt this side chignon to die for. (This is my future wedding hair style, unless I change my mind which is quite possible)

P.S. her tomato red lipstick is Clinique's Red Red Red.

I want red hair. Im waiting it out to see if it is just a phase or if I will die if I don't get it. I love my hair right now and the fact I don't have to do my roots/color it, whoo go color melting. But red would be so much fun!

Poolga

Have you been over to Poolga yet? My iphone really likes their growing set of wallpapers by awsome designers and illustrators. Maybe your phone would like them, too.

sundance date!

Tay and I went and had lunch at the Sundance deli, we had the most delicious sandwiches and then shared a little desert. It was perfect!

Thanksgiving

 our pie turned out! whooo!

Meet Christina, she is Taylor's brother Tristan's cute girlfriend, and also an amazing cook! At this precise moment she is making candied walnuts.
Taylor and I also contributed cheese balls, they were off the hook, because we bought them from the grocery store shhh. ( I think it was the only thing that wasn't hand made)

Christina and I made candied yams...

...and put those candied walnuts to good use in a salad.

After dinner we played some 'minute to win it' games. in this game you had to move a cookie from your forehead to your mouth only using your facial muscles. it was so funny to watch! (I was the official timer so I felt very important.)

We had 5 pies (and our banana cream held its own!) and they were all so delicious... So remember how I said that they were all amazing cooks, well Tom Taylor sister Cammi's husband made a pumpkin pie completely from scratch, like with a pumpkin they grew in there garden. yea I wasn't kidding.

And yes I did try every single one. and they were all delicious. don't judge me, its Thanksgiving.

Reese and his mom Cammi ( it was a little rude he was texting his honeys all night, I mean its thanksgiving Reese, its about family put down the phone)

this is Reese about to destroy the cup tower Kaylee built. He is getting so big even sense the last time I saw him, and he starting to talk alot. He is the cutest! (Taylor and I had only been dating a couple months when he was born isn't that crazy!)

I love this picture even though its blury it shows all the action and fun!
this makes me wish I had a big family with lots of brothers and sisters.

and after everyone else left I snuck some more pie :)
this was my very first Thanksgiving away from my family which was a little strange, but I was so glad I got to spend it with Taylor's family, they are so awesome and make me feel like part of the family. I love them all and had a GREAT Thanksgiving!

magical bow

I was so excited to wear my new red bow today!

This morning I woke up STARVING to death, so I left a bit early for work and picked up a bagel from Einsteins. Im not a big fan of cream cheese so I always get a plain bagel and when ever I tell them I just want it plain they seriously act like just I told them I hunt kittens for sport. To assure them that I don't want anything on it is a process I have to mentally prepare myself for. but it is so delicious it is worth it!

Then when I got to work at the salon I begged Andrew to let me put up the Christmas tree, you see he is very passionate about not celebrating the Christmas season before thanksgiving.

as you can see from this picture Andrew is displaying text book signs of Grinch like behavior.

...after work at the salon I went to work at cherry lane which was fun, and we closed early for Thanksgiving!

So Taylor's sisters put us in charge of  desert for thanksgiving tomorrow, and let me just say that is stressful. I love Taylor family to death so I obviously wanted to impress them, but the thing is the  best way to describe Taylor's sisters are if Martha Stuart and Betty Crocker combined into one all knowing domestic deity (and its not just the women the men are amazing cooks too), so obviously its just not gonna happen.

but I am putting forth a valiant effort and making banana cream pie. yum.

it has to set over night so im going down to Springville in the morning to finish. so cross your fingers for me.

I had such a good day today that I am now convinced my my red bow has magical powers and I will now wear it every day.
